nettle
Fabric woven of nettle fiber has been found in burial sites dating back to the Bronze Age. Nettles enjoy a rich folkloric history and were believed to keep a person safe from lightning and bestow courage when kept in the pocket. Nettles are rich in vitamins and minerals. They are very high in vitamins A and C, and rich in a lot of nutrients. They're unusually high in protein (40%) for a plant. And because they're so nutrient-dense, they make a good overall tonic for strengthening the body.
